Acton Arboretum

Our Score

This arboretum has well tended walking trails with quaint bridges and plenty of grassy areas for a picnic. Lots of flowers abound in this park, even in the autumn (November) when we visited. The parking lot can fill, leaving no options but grass parking. There is no street parking, so if parking runs out, you are out of luck. Because of this popularity, you won’t get much privacy.

There’s a cool boardwalk over a bog at the south end of the arboretum, and was one of the highlights of the walk.
