Dean Park is, in our view, the nicest city park in the Worcester metro area. It has five baseball diamonds, four tennis courts, at least three basketball courts, a beach volleyball court, a large playground, plenty of parking, a creek, a lake, and a short gravel walking trail. It’s a beautiful park and is a great place to take a family.

On the downside, the paths in the park are roadways, so pedestrians must be aware of constant slow moving traffic. The park would benefit from prohibiting vehicular traffic, but multiple parking lots are deep within the park, so this doesn’t seem possible.
